CrowdStrike announces runtime agent controls and definitive agreements for Fiddler AI and Dreadnode.
Runtime controls, observability and pre-deployment testing address different parts of agent risk.
What happened
CrowdStrike announced AI Kill Switch in Falcon Guardian on 3 November. It says the control can terminate unauthorised agents and prevent relaunch; the detailed availability wording specifies the Gateway first, with endpoint termination to follow.
CrowdStrike and Fiddler report a definitive agreement for Fiddler AI; CrowdStrike separately reports a definitive agreement for Dreadnode. These are proposed acquisitions, not completed transactions. Fiddler supplies agent observability; Dreadnode supplies AI security testing. No acquisition-price estimates are included.
Why it matters: Runtime controls, observability and pre-deployment testing address different parts of agent risk.
